Mission, Craftsman, and Arts and Crafts style are commonly used to refer to the same “Style” in regard to homes, furniture and decor. Arts and Crafts style is an all-encompassing term for the architecture, design and many of the arts connected to the Arts and Crafts era. The objects that express the Arts and Crafts style include furniture and built-in woodwork, entryways, doors design. Outside and inside of most homes built in the United States between 1900 and 1930. This style of furniture is made mostly of White Oak, which is harder than Northern Red Oak.
